EPISODE 1: DESPERATION
A Chick is on the search for her perfect other half - the Cock. In desperation she has turned to online dating, but what use is it when there is nobody around?
EPISODE 2: DESIRE
The Chick is waiting for the Cock to text her. Her patience has run out quickly and she has turned for some help to some satanic black magic ritual.
EPISODE 3: UNREALISTIC STANDARDS
The Cock has finally asked the Chick out on a date. She is self-conscious of her body and wants to impress the Cock. The Chick pushes herself to reach the unrealistic beauty standards of the society today, but is it worth it?
PROCESS
All chicken sounds were recorded and voiced by myself in a sound recording studio. Here is an photo of me trying to act as a chicken and flap imaginary wings. All other sounds are from freesounds.org with creative commons 0 license.
The colours of the animation inspired by London chicken shops' branding. Since the initiative of these series was to show how 21st century technology has change the way we date, the square ratio was chosen to reflect the social media.
This is only the beginning of the series. The Chick has not yet found her perfect Cock! :(
